Lightning, Rain and Thunder

A few days ago, there were scattered showers, drizzles and some rain in many parts of Hadhramaut. Mukalla didn't have any; but not far from Mukalla, on the mountains - there was a spectacular display of lightning - one after the other, followed by rumbles and cracks of thunder; extremely loud at times.

This photo, taken just before sunset, shows heavy rain falling in the distance, not far away; I could only see the sharp lightning and hear the loud thunder, very close by. I could even see the heavy rain pouring. And yet, not a drop of rain reached the place I was in. That's how deserts are; very hard to understand at times.

Huh.

How is our walk with God sometimes like a desert?

Abdulhabib - I didn't get this? What did you exactly mean?

It struck me how what you wrote can be our experience in our walk with God.

It is. Nature teaches us much about God and His Powers.
