Another Earthquake Hits Off The Coast Of Hadhramout
The sea around the Soqotra Archipelago is prone to earthquakes. An earthquake, with a magnitude of 5.7 on the Richter scale, struck off the coast of Hadhramout on the morning of Monday the 27th May, the U.S. Geological Survey said. From Volcano Discovery:

The quake occurred about 135 miles (217 km) from the mainland and 135 miles (217 km) north of Socotra Island at a depth of 6 miles in the Gulf of Aden, the Arabian Sea, the USGS said. About three weeks before that, a moderate earthquake struck not far from the same point.
