All Eyes on Egypt
The Egyptian flag, is very similar in color to many Arab flags, with red, white and black; remove the emblem in the middle, it is a Yemeni flag. According to Ancient and Heraldic traditions much symbolism was associated with colors. The colors on the Egyptian flag is said to mean the following:

- White: symbolizes the revolution which ended the monarchy but without bloodshed and also stands for peace and honesty.
- Red: refers to the period before the 1952 revolution; which brought a group of army officers to power after deposing King Farouk, the King of Egypt, and also stands for hardiness, bravery, strength and valor.
- Black: symbolizes the end of the oppression of the Egyptian people at the hands of the Monarchy and British colonialism and symbolizes determination.
